備前焼 金重潤平 Jumpei Kaneshige

室町時代から500年間、備前焼の技法を伝承する家に生まれる。早稲田大学卒業後米国留学。喧騒を避け、山中の自然に囲まれた環境で制作を続ける。備前の伝統の良さにこだわりながら現代の洗練された暮らしに寄り添う作品を制作。 Born into a family that has preserved the techniques of Bizen ware for 500 years since the Muromachi period, he graduated from Waseda University and pursued further studies in the United States. Avoiding the noise of the modern world, he continues his craft in a serene, nature-filled mountain setting.
